Experience our Family Tradition of “Shabbat Shalom” (Sabbath Rest) on a Friday night!
A time to Pause.
Reflect.
Rest.
We make a simple home-cooked meal usually chicken, vegetable, salad and cake, and we make sure to have our 3 candles (yes we do 3 not 2), grape juice and bread to share!
It’s not a law-keeping obligation, but rather a joy for us to partake in a special family Shabbat, much like our brethren who are in Israel.
We always end our time of scripture reading with the Aaronic Blessing which Kevin sings over our family in Hebrew.
It is very special.
